Return & Refund Policy

The Gilded Rack is committed to delivering a refined and elevated shopping experience. As a boutique retailer offering curated collections and limited inventory, we maintain the following Return & Refund Policy to ensure fairness, quality control, and brand integrity.

1. Return Window

Return requests must be submitted within fourteen (14) calendar days of confirmed delivery. Requests submitted after this period will not be accepted.

2. Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a return, all items must:

  • Be unworn, unused, and unwashed.
  • Have all original tags attached and intact.
  • Be returned in original packaging.
  • Be free from stains, fragrance, makeup, deodorant marks, pet hair, or alterations.
  • Not show signs of wear, damage, or misuse.

The Gilded Rack reserves the right to deny any return that does not meet these strict eligibility standards.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and not eligible for return or refund:

  • Sale or discounted merchandise.
  • Gift cards.
  • Custom, altered, or made-to-order pieces.
  • Intimate, hygiene-sensitive, or personal wear items.
  • Items marked ‘Final Sale’ at checkout.

4. Return Authorization Process

All returns require prior written authorization. To initiate a return, customers must email [Insert Customer Service Email] with the following information:

  • Reason for return.

Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

The buyer is solely responsible for all return shipping costs unless the item received was defective or incorrect.

We strongly recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method. The Gilded Rack is not responsible for lost, damaged, or misdirected return shipments.

5. Inspection & Restocking

All returned items undergo inspection upon receipt. If approved, refunds will be processed in accordance with this policy.

The Gilded Rack reserves the right to apply a restocking fee of up to 10% in cases where returned items require additional handling or repackaging.

6. Refund Processing

If a return is approved:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method only.
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • Processing may take 5–10 business days after inspection approval.
  • Financial institutions may require additional time to post funds.

If a return is rejected, the item may be shipped back to the customer at their expense.

7. Exchanges

Due to limited inventory and curated collections, exchanges are not guaranteed. Customers wishing to secure a different size or style should place a new order and request a return separately.

8. Damaged or Incorrect Items

Claims for damaged or incorrect items must be submitted within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery and must include clear photographic evidence of the item and packaging.

9. Policy Modifications

The Gilded Rack reserves the right to amend this Return & Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. The version published on our website at the time of purchase will govern the transaction.
